You'll have to fill in the poll regarding parents who went with positioning techniques and didn't have to go with an orthotic. Because I just KNOW Jenna's not going to need it. YAYAYAYAYAY! In the poll regarding parents who whent with positioning techniques, can you add one that says " almost complete correction " ? Jenna's is more then moderate, but it is not " complete " . She still has a slight flat spot on the back right. Also, her head is now in the 90th percentile, it used to be in the 50th. Good thing we were repositioning her during the rapid growth period, huh? We have been doing it for 2 months and I really feel 2-4 months of age is the critical time to catch this (in my opinion). That is the age that they spend so much time on their backs. Now she plays in her walker, and will be sitting up soon. She is also used to sleeping on her left side now and she turns her head both ways all the time now. She used to focus to the right. I am so glad I found this group (thanks )! When her pediatrician told us to reposition her, I didn't think much of it until I found this group. > Karla: > what a relief for you....
