I don't think I'd take this product..Looks like sugar to me..I looked it up, don't waste your money Del.. Honest!!!Boo

Biological Polymers

Monosaccharides are the simplest carbohydrates. They are simple sugars which have the general formula CnH2nOn and are comprised of a chain of 3-6 carbons.

Disaccharides are combinations of two cyclic forms of the monosaccharides connected via another ether linkage. Table sugar (sucrose) is a disaccharide.

Disaccharide

An organic compound formed by a dehydration-condensation reaction between two simple sugars (monosaccharidesPolysaccharides are composed of many cyclic monosaccharides connected via ether linkages and include starch, cellulose, and chitin (part of insect exoskeleton).

Polysaccharide

A macromolecule composed of many simple sugars linked covalently.
