Danne I'll tell you what I ate before Transplantation, as I never went though Treatment hon..Tuna fish, raman noodle, soup, sherbets (esp lemon), oranges, any fruit handy but mostly oranges, some chicken and cookies..The smell of food make me sick OK, so Bruce had to get very creative.. He also made me sit at the table to eat, cause I would give my food to the dog.. She gained weight while I lost.. I guess at one point he figured out this, thus the table thingy OK..Found out later the foods that made me sick where the food I had to avoid.. Amazing how your body can tell you this huh.. The article says it all Danne, a simple list of food to avoid to help try and keep the ammonia levels down, that and lactalose hon.. Your ammonia levels must be though the roof, read the list..Boo Kathy Brunow

And my update

Hello ladies and gentlemen.

Hope you are all doing well. I'm ok tired, but who's

not.

My nephews left yesterday with their mom for a few

days on the truck. But will be back Thursday. Then today my 2 nieces got here

for 2 weeks. They are good kids so it will be good to have them here to help me

with a few projects...

I now have an appiontment with a hep dr.. It is a

month away but that is good. I have to try to get a copy of all my medical

records. Plus I have to go get blood drawn for the dr to have his own tests. We

are doing a new geno, a vl and something else but I 4got the last one. lol.

brain overload.

AND... I will get my first disability check on the

1st. As well as be covered with medicare. I am not sure yet of details on the

medicare but will find out in time.

WoooooHoooooo FINALLY ITS COMING TOGETHER RIGHT!!!!!

whew had to vent that.

Hey De, Thanks for askin. We found out I really do have a heart after all. lol The guy done the sonogram got lots of good views. The Dr, after looking at the pics and graphs, came in and said my heart is looking good. It has a good rhythm. It is starting to show a little wear from the weight and high bp. But nothing that will stop my quest. He gave me the green light on continuing toward Gastric Bypass. He will ok me doing it and will give me a letter of medical necessity to get it done. I will see my pcp on the 2nd. I also go on Oct 9th for a Neurology work up. I don't know yet what tests they plan. I have an appt on January 10th to see the gastric doc. did you have the EMG test? saw a girl I used to work with at the retreat I went on with my sis. I don’t

know if I told you already. She looked phenomenal & said she’d had

gastric bypass. She’d lost 85 so far. So that’s 2 success stories

I know personally.
