Guest guest
Hi everyone. My daughter Ella (6 1/2 months old is still in her first cast. It gets cut off next week and then she's recasted the following Monday (the 16th). I've already started thinking a lot about her being in cast #2 and just how awful the first few days were for her (and me!)after getting this cast applied. Watching her struggle is so heartbreaking, yet I know it's so worth it. I'm wondering if she'll do better this time when the cast is applied since she'll only be cast-free for a few days before #2 is put on. What has everyone else's experiences been? Is it the same struggle for them to adapt? Is it the anesthesia that causes them to be uncomfortable? Anyone that's had a very young child casted- what are your thoughts on this? I'm bracing myself for you to say it's still awful Thanks, Momma to Ella, cast #1, 40* out of cast, 10* in cast!!
