Health Valley Granola Bars get Clobbered!

Now this story stars a person that in my estimation is the equivalent of a Raw

Milk Freedom Rider. It was in today's Mpls Trib, an irate woman in CA is suing

General Mills for False Advertising for promoting their crappy sugar-laden

granola bars as " 100% Natural " which they are NOT!~Their labeling has so many

egregious lies you could get diabetes just reading it! There are numerous

artificial chemicals in the bars, not the least of which is a big dose of high

fructose (and maltose) corn syrup! This is a super denatured chemical that

will, it you consume it regularly, make your hair turn phosphorescent green and

cause an extra eyeball grow in your forehead. I ate one a month or so ago and

felt like Charlie Sheen on crack for a few hours.

Man, I hope she picks up support to win. Those money-grubbers at our darling GM

have a fleet of 100 lawyers that will descend upon this righteous citizen who

just wants honesty in labeling. Let's send her energy, she's helping to protect

our children and their children!

Thanks for the heads up about this, Will. I applaud this woman for standing up

to a corporate giant who is contributing to our decline in health and getting

away with false advertising. In addition to sending this woman energy, we can

all help by voting with our dollars and supporting local farmers who are

nourishing us and the environment with their sustainable farming practices.
