HI, and thanks for the welcome. Savannah has never had any immune

issues until just recently. Of course, when we found the asthma,

almost two yrs ago, and it was suddenly so bad, we tested her immune

globulins due to her brothers IgG def. and like I said, then, the only

low was M, by just a hair. Now EVERYTHING is dropping, I dont know if

that means she actually has a deficiency of some kind, but something

is surely going on. But it scares me. The boys are not currently on

IVIG.but their pulmo says.........if Brennan gets ANY lower, he will

need it----Brennan is sick year round andhe is only 3---Right now, he

caught something at Christmas, and is still sick, even though at the

time, he was on his prophylaxis antibiotic, we tried prednisone(baby

speed), we tried doubling his prophylaxis, we have him on day 4 of

zithromax, and he is still sick. NOt AS sick, but still sick. And it

seems like he never gets fully well, just better enough, then really

sick again. Its frustrating. And my 5 yr old has constant sinus

infections. It interferes with school, b/c he is so often stuffed up

and congested, his asthma going crazy, but if I kept him home every

time he sniffled, he would never go anywhere. We are looking into the

possibility of taking out his tonsils and adenoids, but first we have

to go thru neuro consult, b/c he has this crazy sleep problem we know

it isnt OSA, but something is wrong there, and the ENT wants to make

sure it isnt something neuro before we pull the T and A.
