You said no dairy, right? Its really hard to find any supplemental

weight gain drink with no dairy, as I am sure you have found. But when

brennan(formerly FTT, still way too small for age) was found to have

the dairy allergy, the nutritionist at the hospital got him this

stuff...and I want to think it was called EO28. Its a non dairy high

calorie drink that comes in little juice boxes like hi-c. It comes in

flavors, like strawberry pineapple or somesuch. He liked the juice box

and straw. He didnt like it after a while, though, but Ana might. Many

kids do. The best part of it is, the company will send you FREE

samples to see if the kid likes it.......an entire pack of it. So you

could trial it and if she likes it and has a dx of FTT, most ins will

cover it in full. Or maybe mix it with your breastmilk in a cup.

We nearly threw a party when Brennan hit the 4th%, I know what you

mean about her being small. We were at a McD's play place one time,

and some lady came right over and hollered at me for letting my " baby "

play up in the slides. I about screamed at her THE BABY IS 2 AND A

HALF YRS OLD woman!!! He is just small for his age, but he can still

play!!!Even now, people will say.......ohhhh, the baby is so cute. Is

he two yet? Um, yeah, he'll be FOUR in a month!! But you just have to

learn to deal. Like hey, he hastn needed new clothes in two yrs!!He

finally went up a half size in shoes!!The worst thing was that both

the boys used to get WIC, and they weigh them at the visits. Donovan

is and always has been big for his age, so they would always question

why one was above average in weight and height and one never

grew......I always felt like they were trying to ask in a roundabout

way if I was feeding donovan brennans food or something. I started

taking drs reports to them, I was so afraid they would think I was not

feeding him!!

But, I was thinking of you today, and remembered us trying that drink

over last summer. I was so excited to get it. maybe you could ask

about it. It couldnt hurt?and the free trial, you wouldnt be out any

money.

BTW--is it pronounced " A-nna " or " Ahh-nn-a " ?
