I just want to stick my nose in where it doesnt belong at all.......but you are mentioning that she has had frequent bronchitis and pnuemonia's? Is that explained by her particular PID, or has she ever had a PFT run to rule out asthma? I ask, b/c since high school, I have had several bouts of bronchitis a year, and last yrs 'regular " bronchitis did not go away, and by summer, I was so sick of feeling sick, I went back to the dr, who sent me for a PFT just to RULE OUT asthma, given the kids history, and HEY, there was me, getting dx'd with asthma at age 30, that I have probably had for many a yr........with the bronchitis/pnuemonia/pleurisy being misdiagnosed, and acutally being acute asthma flares.
