so this is running rampant in school right now.......esp in the kdg

rooms. the letter than came home about it says that it is no longer

contagious once the rash appears(though one friend said her dr told

her to keep her son home until the rash cleared) and its fine to be in

school. I have to admit it makes me nervous to see Donovan sitting at

a table full of red, itchey kids. I WANT to beleive they are not

contagious..........

Anyway, the letter also stated that it is only dangerous to pregnant

woment and children with immune def of any kind........so HOW MUCH

more dangerous is it? Should I be more concerned about this than the

other parents?

Olivia had this as a baby, and it wasnt the biggest deal in the

world...course that was before I had any kids with asthma, or PID, or

anything like that. NOw every illness seems like it takes on a bigger

meaning to me......and Olivia had been sick, with head cold type

symptoms, now Savannah and brennan have it........and i wonder if this

could be the precursor to Fifths................there isnt any way to

tell unless the rash breaks out, though, is there?
