Guest guest
Hi All! I see a lot of posts re: cause of apraxia - since it is a neurological disorder could it be related to the increase in the number of vaccines children are given at such an early age? Some vaccines can cause demyelination and autoimmunity. I've been investigating and it looks to me like this may be the cause in some cases. Worth looking into! Guest guest
Hi, just wanted to add to the apraxia and genetic cause issue, that in my daughter's case it is genetic. Alison (7 yo) has a very rare genetic syndrome (Kabuki) and she has verbal dyspraxia, dysarthria, developmental dyspraxia, hypotonia, as well as many other problems. In the past, she had two blood tests done, to check her genetic condition (karyoptype), but they came out normal. Only six months ago, when eventually a geneticist saw her, it was immediately diagnosed the Kabuki Syndrome, which, at the moment, cannot be detected by a genetic test yet. My daughter's case is very peculiar, so I do not know if this may be of any help. My very best to all of you.
