Odd rash using ozone sauna, questions

Hi,

I'm new here. I recently purchased ozone equipment for the purpose

of treating my Lyme/CFS. I have the tent sauna, not the more

expensive one. I did a few sessions in the sauna (about 5) and

increaded the time I was in it close to half an hour. It's difficult

for me to stay in for the full half hour. I didn't notice anything

in terms of symptom increase/decrease or rash.

Two saunas ago I noticed a rash like clustering of red nodules in my

upper middle chest area. It's acne-like, but there's nothing inside

of them and there's no heads to them. It was very itchy and a bit

painful and pretty much went away by the time I was ready to resauna

a week later. The last sauna produced the same results. I don't

notice any redness or nodules anywhere else on my body. My sweat to

date has been clear, not dark.

I've heard and read of the whole body rash, but some pracitioners

have noted that many patients doing ozone saunas just get these

nodules on their upper chest like me and it lasts for about a week

or so. Does anyone conclusively know if this is some kind of detox

thing/pathogen release or merely an epidermal reaction to exposure to

ozone? Thank you for any responses,

Gigs

Hello Gigs, I went through all those questions and doubting at the beginning and

even much later. I have now done over 350 saunas ranging from 20 -30 minutes.

I can assure you it sounds like a rash and will probably get worse before it

gets better. What you described sounds exactly like my rashes but mine were

more on the arms and legs, groin and chest. I tried always to do a sauna every

second day so as to keep the rash " on slow, tolerable, and sustained boil " by

adjusting the time in the sauna. There were many times that I had to go to as

little as 5 minutes to tolerate the itching and pain but it eventually allowed

me to ramp up again. But I tried to do a sauna every other day which I think

gives the quickest resolution as it does not allow the baddies to reproduce

before the next session.

Keep going, you will love the results. Good luck! :-)

Best wishes and much love, Ken

Dear Gigs,

This is a standard detox reaction.

Best of Health!
