Guest guest
Dear Jim, Glucose being unburned in the cell can be remedied by adding ozone/oxygen into the equation, which accelerates the burn. It also eliminates the metabolic waste around the cell which is blocking oxygen from entering. This increased cell activity results in an increase in body temperature, and an invigoration of the system. FM sufferers have impaired lactic acid clearing mechanisms. Crystallized lactic acid is a major cause of pain as it tears tissue. Ozone will oxidize the lactic acid, and thus reduce pain. So, as a therapy, ozone : - increases oxidation of sugar in the cell - eliminates the byproducts of glycolysis - increases the oxygen delivered to cells - eliminates lactic acid and much of the pain it causes - eventually gets to toxins stored in fat, and oxidizes them, so they can be eliminated We have dealt with many dozens of people with FM, with excellent results, including my own wife, using ozone therapy and directed supplementation. In diabetes, supplementation with chromium + vanadium is critical to helping insulin do its job. Some researchers have said that diabetes is a chromium deficiency disease. It is no wonder, since North American soils are noticeably deficient in chromium. Best of Health! Glucose enters the cell by facilitated osmosis. Osmosis is the term to describe things moving from an area of greater concentration to lesser concentration. The process is facilitated by insulin, that is insulin opens the channels that allows the glucose to flow into the cell, assuming that the concentration gradient exists to cause the glucose to move into the cell. In the case of blocked metabolism, the cells are not fully burning all the glucose inside the cell as fast as a healthy metabolism would. Insulin opens the channel but the glucose in the blood cannot flow into the cell because the cell still has glucose inside, which lowers the concentration gradient reducing the pull of glucose into the cell. Insulin get blamed for not working, when I suspect that it is doing it's job. The cell can't fully function with insulin opening the door and allowing more glucose in, so it reduces the number of receptors that insulin can act upon. Kind of like trying to keep a house warm with kids running in and out, leaving the door open. Since glucose is not being burned rapidly enough, blood glucose levels remain elevated for a longer period of time. The pancreas checks the blood glucose levels and finding that there is still more glucose that needs to be taken care of, throws more insulin at the problem. Insulin then does its secondary job, helping to convert the glucose to fat and store it away for a rainy day. The body tends to hang onto anything that it may be able to use for survival. The FIR sauna helps by increasing metabolism through raising the body temperature. Exercise can acheive the same result. The downside to exercise in people with CFS-FMS is that the body has dificulty clearing the metabolic waste that results from the glycolysis process and tends to put the person in a flare condition. Excercise for the person with CFS-FMS causes the tissue to become more acidic. Ken, I went to the website but was unable to listen to the broadcast, One of the downsides to not using MS Windows. What did he have to say? Guest guest
Dear Saul, thank you for the information. Is the ozone sauna which I've seen refered to in posts on this group, the means you use to introduce the ozone? I've wondered what it is that stops oxygen from entering the tissue. From what I've read O2 should flow down its concentration gradient so if there was no oxygen in the cells I would think that the oxygen should enter especially since the cell walls are permeable to gases. but I guess that there are several things preventing that. alkaline pH blood and lower body temperature causing hemoglobin to bind more tightly to the oxygen and as you point out, metabolic waste blocking its entry into the cell. I'll have to get an ozone sauna one of these days and do some experimenting with it. Guest guest
According to a discussion I had with Ignacio Fojgel, a doctor in Argentina who oversees the use of two mild hyperbaric oxygen chambers there, it is the PPO that prevents 02 from entering cells/tissues, in most chronic illnesses. That, according to him (we talked about this a few weeks ago by instant messenger) is remedied by the chamber. Unfortunately, chronic inflammation increases PPO (partial pressure). Ozone steam saunas are a pretty ingenious invention. The steam alone helps cleanse the lymph, I think. Then the ozone in the steam somehow seems to create an electrical field. I know I asked Saul about this a while back, because the first time I tried the sauna, for only 10 minutes, I felt very energized and I felt it was an electrical effect. And then you are getting ozone into the system through the open pores. It's also a pleasant experience (excpet apparently for the rash, which I didn't get. I use extra virgin coconut oil after). Hoewver it is really powerful. The detox initiated from ozone is strong. But in the case of lyme for instnace, you don't get the same muscle pain from die-off you would from other " killing " modalities, as it seems likely that the ozone oxidizes the neurotoxins released by lyme. Still, your body has to detoxify all the stuff that got oxidized or killed. I might have some of the above wrong, but Saul will correct me if so. > > Dear Jim, > > > > Glucose being unburned in the cell can be remedied by adding > ozone/oxygen > > into the equation, > > which accelerates the burn. Guest guest
Dear Jim, In most cases, vaginal insufflation has been the means to overcoming FM, since the majority of clients have been women. However, a good number have used the ozone sauna, both men and women. Dr. Carl Reich believes that calcium is the key to oxygen's entry into the cell. " Calcium is the key biological regulatory ion, regulating pH and the cell's membrane voltage and channel openings. " - p. 44, The Calcium Factor Best of Health!
