Guest guest
Your story sounds similar to mine. I was told by an internal med MD that my liver was enlarged, and thinking I had nothing to lose, did the Hulda liver cleanse, and it went to normal -and flatter than average. It's easy to find in a search engine....good luck
Guest guest
Hi, Stress is big because it activates the sympathetic nervous system and shuts down the parasympathetic which is what digests food. Stress is wonderful stuff, gets those life juices flowing. But you need to learn to shut it down when you're done dealing with whatever. Much easier said than done. I can't lecture on that one. The other suggestions were great, deal with any constipation first. It seems counterintuitive, but adding HCL in the form of betaine HCL with pepsin seems to universally work for people who seem to experience too much acid. Get the lowest dosage possible and you need more with certain foods and amounts of foods than with others. A big plate of lasagna, for instance, will take a lot. Keep some tums or bicarbonate handy in case you goof. Apple cider vinegar before a meal can work ok too. Then after a meal, take some digestive enzyme like Absorbaid. If you haven't been digesting food, you don't have the necessary nutrient reserve to digest food. It gets to be a circular problem. Once you digest food and build these reserves, the other issues may resolve themselves. The stomach may start digesting, the liver will kick out what's bothering it, the immune system will have what it needs to become competent, etc. Try adding some honest fats back in. The enzymes will help a lot. And try kicking out grains. > Date: Tue, 20 Jul 2004 20:15:12 -0000 > From: " innosent_eyes " <innosent_eyes@...> >Subject: Liver enlargement > >I have had a history of stomach problems, the most recent being an >MRI showing I have an enlarged liver and spleen. Olive oil, flax oil, or coconut oil, as opposed to saturated or hydrogenated fats. These fats are very good for the liver. If your liver is congested then you must go slow with them as well until you can flush the stones and sludge out and get it working better. I have an enlarged spleen which seems to get bigger as my liver gets congested and enlarges so I know when I have to increase my flushes. >How does cutting grains and adding fats help? You must get it out of the system before it truely shows up as a problem. I am right now 17 days free of wheat. After 21 days I should react noticeable if I am allergic to wheat. I could never tell before but wheat has made up most of my diet for so many years. I believe it has a bearing on why my liver and spleen is enlarged.
