Guest guest
Hi Art. I have said this over and over again. I just don't get the benefit in causing so much stress on the adrenals and such. And believe me, that rash causes an amazing amount of stress. Why not do as Ken recommended, and now you. Start small and slowly work up and if you get a rash, back down and slowly work up again. Getting the benefit of the ozone without extreme rashing. And scarring, as Gail has experienced. Guest guest
this is not what i am saying, although it is similar what i am saying is to start very very slow almost to the point of ineffectiveness, and not to work up gradually but to space out the dosages throughout the day. like taking sips of water instead of drinking a glassful
Guest guest
Yes. But, I would think you would have to have at least a few mintues to actually absorb some. Also. how long does it take to heat up the sauna. Andthen gettingundressd and dressed , etc. etc. I think I would probably just do the 'work up gradually' program. Guest guest
- Hi Art, Well, after struggling so much with the rash, I have come to the conclusion each person has to find whatever works for them. For some, that might be jumping in and going full speed ahead, and for others, it might be a slower pace. I've just come to realize that I have a fear of this not working. I didn't really realize it before, but the rash gets so bad that is down right scary. That's when I wonder if it will work. Then I read about others' successes and that gives me hope. Still I've discovered for me to even continue I have to slow down. Then I realized that for somebody who has been as sick as I've been for as long as I have been it will take 3 or 4 years to even recover, from what others have said. With that in mind, I told myself why even be in a hurry. Personally, I would not want to do a short minute/second sauna daily or even several times a day. You become a sweaty mess and have to shower afterward. I just don't want to do all that several times a day. What I've found that is working for me is simply do a 20 minute sauna ever 4 or 5 days. If I try and do it even twice a week that really doesn't give my body time to settle down from the rash. 4 days seems to be about right, so that's what I do. With the ear insufflation, I'm even going slower. I started out with a minute and now am up to 1 1/2 minutes in each ear. I feel like whatever ozone I do is more than not doing it. And as long as I'm consistent, with baby step advancment, the healing will take place. But even so....(and acknowledging my doubts is such a revelation to me)....I wonder if it will work.....So many of the other stuff I've tried has not worked, yet people said they would. Guess I'm a little down... Guest guest
Gail, It will work! And not as slow as it seems now. Looking back, it seems like a flash! Looking forward, it just looked too long but after 18 months, I was ecstatic! I need to start again after nearly 8 months break! :-) Best wishes and much love, Ken Ken Gullan Institute for Research Integration (IRI), San Diego, CA 92106-2424 IRI is a 501C(3) non-profit corporation established to help children with developmental difficulties.
