Does anyone have experience with home tutoring (not home schooling),

Hi Judy,

My son did home tutoring for five years. He is back in school this

year--which was a big milestone for him.

As I understand it, all states require home tutoring to be an option--I

think it is a federal law. You will need a note from your Pediatrician stating

that your child cannot attend school and the reason. Sometimes, they want to

talk to the Ped as well. It can vary.

was sick constantly, so it would have been impossible for him to

attend school at that time. Staying home allowed him to be sick and learn at

the

same time.

Feel free to e-mail me with any questions you have or if you just want to

chat.
