Tamiflu

When my DH had it a few weeks ago, all 4kids went on it as a

preventative. The kids did ok on it, none of them got the flu,

hurray!!But, DH constantly complained of stomach aches and diarrhea

once he started the tamiflu and even after he started to feel better

and his fever went down. I think it really worked for him b/c usually

once he gets a fever, and its normal for him to spike a 105

immediately and last for a week or more, he has always been that

way.......but this time, with the tamiflu, his fever broke in just

three days. But, then his throat became swollen and had big white

spots, so he started an antibiotic too..........no one was really sure

if that was part of the flu, something else starting, or what. But, he

kept on the tamiflu and keflex, and one or the other of them made his

stomach sick. But, I force fed him the meds and kept him locked in the

bedroom till I was sure he wouldnt make the kids sick!!LOL one sick

hubby is better than 4 sick kids!!valarie
