Guest guest
Hello all! I hope everyone is well and enjoying the beginning of summer I just wanted to update on Tommy Lee and catch up on everyone's posts. Tommy did really well in cast #2 but we decided to take it off a little ahead of schedule. I was noticing some redness in areas and also the strap across the chest was extremely tight to the point that I couldnt even fit a finger under. I think he's had a growth spurt recently which made the whole cast tighten up. So I called our favorite PA from SLC Shriners and he advised us it would be ok to take the cast off 10 days prior because of our concerns of skin break down. Now boy am I glad we did! His poor skin was highly irritated around his rib cage on both sides which they most likely would not have casted over. Sooo we are enjoying these extra days of squishy cuddles, baths, swimming, and I'm going to try my hardest to get him potty trained this week! I just hope that his numbers don't regress too far back since we have seen some amazing correction with only 2 casts. We are turning this next casting trip into a family road trip and driving to SLC from CA...wish us luck lol.... Take care and happy summer to all of you! , Mommy to Tommy Lee, 3 yo, ready for cast #3 at 35* range at last casting, and also mommy to Logan who is
