Guest guest Posted April 26, 2011 Report Share Posted April 26, 2011 Hi there, My daughter Lucy is 3-1/2 months old and was just diagnosed with idiopathic progressive infantile scoliosis. We are going back June 1 to confirm the diagnosis because she has been getting over RSV and the doc worries that the lung irritation might be making it look worse. Her spine curve is 35 degrees and RVAD was measured at 26 degrees. However I am not sure the X-ray tech knew what she was doing - weren't we supposed to try to hold her as straight as possible? What I don't know is who we should bring her to for a second opinion? Where is the nearest good place for Mehta casting? Looks like maybe Dallas?
