Guest guest
Looks like focusing on triglycerides is where its at, bring on the steak and eggs! No one can explain why with american cutting down on fat and lowering cholesterol heart disease has not dropped much at all. Insulin is where its at - foods that trigger quick insulin surges store calories as fat quickly and your blood sugar drops and then you are hungry again soon. The food industry has alot to gain by blaming america's obesity totally on television and no exercise.Changing this paradigm will be very slow. Where would we be without the web. I am finally going to try Atkins. The rise in LDL I agree is more than offset by lowering triglycerides, especially if you are getting good antioxidants so the LDL does not get oxidized, and stays in the useful, beneficial form.
