Guest guest
I spoke to my mom on the phone last night and she told me that she has quit taking ALL medications except for a pain medication. She on her list of medications she quit was Lipitor. She told me that while taking Lipitor her cholesterol count was nearly 500. Yes, I said 500! Her doctor has always told her that genetically she is prone to have high cholesterol. That explains everything for me then too. Two months after she quit taking Lipitor her cholesterol count dropped to 280. And her triglycerides dropped in half too. She feels fantastic and can now think so much clearly than while she was on the meds. Instead of sleeping until 11 am or noon every day like she did when she was on the meds she now wakes up around 7 am and is wide awake and ready to go. She is also now taking CoQ10, Omega 3, and some other supplements that I have been telling her to take for years. She must have been taking good notes on all those phone calls over the years. My mom is 79 years old and has been on these meds for years and years. She even had a mild stroke a few years ago (while taking Lipitor and all the other meds her cardio put her on). I have often told her that if she were to quit taking all those meds she would feel so much better. She was so proud to tell me that she finally took my advice and how great she is feeling. She now feels like she is alive again. Her cardiologist cannot explain it ... [of course not it goes against all he was taught] and goes against what his pharma rep continues to tell him. I wish the doctors of the world would just become open minded and discover there is something else out there besides western medicine.
