Sorry!! I know that behavior is an excellent indicator, though, so you're

doing a great job of keeping track of what's up with . Meanwhile, you

hang in there!! It is possible, you know, for a few things to happen. One

could be fluid in the ear--that usually bothers Bri more than the ear infection

itself--plus he gets dizziness. Second is the possibility that the abx isn't

working. There, I've said it. Omnicef is an excellent drug, though, so that is

probably not the case. But has done this to us on a few

occasions--gotten sick while on an abx. Oh yeah, and one more thing?? The abx

might not be

working on her sinuses without a burst of Prednisone. Like you've never

heard me say that before!! But it might be time to give it a try!!

-I have a 6 year old girl. Sounds like and my act the same at

times. I think it is a girl thing and has actually " stepped " out of it

for now. I tried to stay strong and show her lots of love, but stuck to my

word always. A great book to read is Boundaries for Kids. It helped me alot.

Good luck. Hope she stays healthy:)

That's about the schedule as far as I can tell. She's given me the Stink Eye

so many times over the last three months I swear I must have burn marks on my

forehead where she's glared fiery holes in it. Sigh. Then I find myself

getting impatient because I'm aggravated, and that doesn't help. We're butting

heads

so much now.

Case in point: at dinner tonight she sulked and sulked, griped about the

food, etc. etc., asked to be excused at some point but didn't leave yet, then

Daddy asked " How was school today, Tiger? " and she gave him a huge glare and

stomped off. Normally we wouldn't permit that level of rudeness but quite

frankly,

it was a relief to see her go, I hate to say. Sigh. Daddy looked at me and

said totally deadpan, " Her ear re-check is tomorrow, you say? " knowing they

need

to check Something!!!

I've heard someone somewhere say that this age is a good indicator of the

teenage years. I don't ever want to hear anyone say that again, this is

frightening enough!! :)

Last time I blamed the Augmentin but this time I paid the extra $20 for

Omnicef and while she's not specifically complaining about stomach pain as

much as

with the Augmentin, her moods make me think there's pain somewhere, as this is

how she always expresses it. Sigh again.
