Have you heard of Coulter Video? They do videos about Aspergers and what it is like to have it. It is meant to be viewed by his peers to sort of give them a heads up on what is going on. It may cut down on some of the teasing and help the students to be more accepting, patient and understanding. They have videos or dvd's for purchase and make them for younger children as well. ** HI

Thanks ! Yes, I am on a list where we get Dan Coulter's newsletters there for free and I have looked up his video information.

My son is now in High School, a Junior, so we are past the stage of formally educating his peers. We did do a small seminar on disabilities and Aspergers and helping and not teasing etc during his PE class when I gave the Social Worker the authorization to do this, as I wanted it done. THAT was in Junior high though. NOT HS. His peers now are ok, better than Junior high, however, I am sure that some kids are not going to be respectful and mature and that there are always kids who will be mean in their teens.

HE does have some nice kids who have helped him in his PE classes too.
