Guest guest
Hi, Tuesday evening I stuffed up..big time. It was my second day on this round but I have tried the challenge previously and lasted only about 2 weeks. It's not the working out that is a problem, I can do that no sweat (or should I say buckets of sweat), I mean the working out part I can live with no problem but it's the diet I find I can't live with. I find it very difficult to eat as much protein as is suggested in EVERY meal. Sure, I find it easy to include protein in 2 of my daily meals but not 6, It makes me feel heavy and a bit blocked if you know what I mean. I just don't think I can live that way and am not sure if I want to. I like to eat lots of fruit and vegetables and non processed foods and I feel like my stomach is too heavy to fit those vitamin rich healthy foods in my daily diet after having protein 6 x per day. Could or Kit voice their opinions (or anyone else who may have some knowledge) on whether I could still get good fat loss results if I dropped the protein to say about 50% that is recommended and made up for it with about 50% more carbs. I just don't think I can go on " for life " eating strictly BFL way. Between meals I like to eat FRESH fruit as it makes me feel light and energetic. When I add protein to that I feel yuck and heavy. The reason I am fat is from all the trying and failing of diets, then feeling like " oh stuff it " and over eating until the next time I start a program. I just can't seem to last on them. I just want to eat healthy good for you foods with not so much protein. Nutritionists etc say that 15-20% of daily requirements should come from protein. This is what I could and can live with. Fat loss is my main concern, I want to get rid of about 35lbs and I'll be sweet. I don't want to gain much more muscle as I am strong and feel firm underneath the layers. I just want those layers to peel off my already muscluar body which is hiding underneath. I need to be set free from this protein issue. P.S. I won't even think about a Meal Replacement shake as I like to eat things as close to nature as possible. Oh exept when I have stuffed up and then everything goes out the window. It's not logical I know, but that's what happens to me. Many thanks in advance for you advice. Amie.
