Hello:

Anyone else out there in Bucks county, pa?

My oldest son is 4. He has SID, lang. delays and fine motor delays. I

think it's only a matter of time before the Aspergers diagnosis is

made.

He has begun with strong displays of anger lately. Often times first

thing in the a.m. when I get him up and he realizes his father has

already left for work. He cries, screams, kicks, throws things, slams

doors.

Does anyone have any tips of how to calm him?

He doesn't seem to enjoy when I direct him to do something, such as

take a deep breath, come sit and try to relax. These suggestions seem

to irriate him more. At times hugging him tight and brushing him works.

Thanks,
