All these were yeast symptoms for my son.

The running/climbing could come from food/supplement intolerance too.

Hi Patty

Your son's reaction sounds a lot like my guy's. We have had a runny nose but no cough or rash. And the behavior is the same as you describe. My husband made the comment the other day that it's like we're right back where we were a year ago.

I'm taking it as a good sign. My son has said 3 long sentences today totally umprompted and they were relevant. His behavior is getting a little better. So....IMO I think it is working....hang in there.

See if upping his methyl donors helps.

Thanks. I'll increase our yeast protocol and see if that helps.

He gets MB12 shots daily and MB12 nasal spray daily as well. Could he

really need more?

Hard to tell Kerrie. We do homeopathy and for my son when he

regressed like you describe, I stopped our homeopathic treatment for

the measles and alternated with another homeopathic remedy (very

individual) that helps with his immune system/ methylation.

Yasko - I am new to her - uses a bunch of methylation supports. Some

that come to mind are alternate sources of B-12 (intrinsic and

hydroxy and cyanacobalamin if your child cannot tolerate too many

methyl donors), methionine or SAMe (depending on genetics),

phosphatidyl serine or choline, some form of folate, some BH4

support. The list is endless and its very hard to tell what to use.

She has a protocol based on genetics and an order to follow but if

you are not doing her protocol it might help to add some methyl

donors conservatively - too much can overload the system very fast.

See also if some immune supports can help. To read more see

www.autismanswer.com.

Sorry I can't be of more help, it was an thought based on personal

observation. You might very well just climb out of it on your own

with no change at all. Good luck.
