My name is and my son is 3 1/2 years old. He has

clostridia although is OATS tests aren't horrible. Yeast is around

100 typically and his bacteria HPHPA fluctuates because of the

medications we are on. We have been in the normal range or as high

as 1300. We are staying in the 200-300 now. We are chelating with

DMSA. This weekend was our 6th time. 's Herpes 6 titer was 80

in November. I called my doctor last week and reminded him of

s' high titer and he said he is a perfect candidate for

Valtrex. today is the 7th day of Valtrex and I am seeing some

verbal stimming. I see my doctor in 2 days and I am going to ask

him why we are on nystatin instead of diflucan. I received his new

OATS test today and his yeast is the highest it has ever been at 313

for his arabinose. I think this is due to the increase in n-

actylcysteine from 1/2 ml daily to 1ml a day. Add the DMSA and the

Valtrex in there and I think I am going to need a stronger

antifungal. When we weren't on any medications only taking the

nystatin, we were in the normal range. So I thought, this isn't so

hard.

Since we started chelating, has really progressed by leaps

and bounds. The Developemental Pediatrician feels that he is PDD

NOS. I'm hoping for great things with Valtrex. He does seem to be a

little more anxious and he was pretty verbal before the Valtrex. At

least he can speak in full sentences and express his wants and

needs, however, he sounds very robotic. My problem is his social.

He loves to be in the thick of it but can't establish a one to one

play. He is great with structured groups.

I've only been at it for 7 days. How long until I really see a

diffence?

Thanks,
