My son can't handle VS either. Bummer. It can do good things.

Yes, lots of people using VS report their kids cannot tolerate VS 1 hr

before a meal. Some kids, like mine, can tolerate 20 min before a meal.

Others take VS with a meal and it still seems to work. Unfortunately,

it is a trial and error thing, based on the child.

The group has members using VS too.

forgot to mention feverdown but stillthere, but then i didn't expect it to go away in one day. He's been very sweet, but disappointed that he can't go to the water park at the Y which we do every Saturday. No other illness signs tho, but I'd like to see what everyone else talks about-the cough, rashes. Have not started him up again on OLE yet. waiting to be sure his stomach is ok. Maureen,

CJ can’t even handle a pinch of

any enzyme. Maybe after a while of the OLE it will open up a better ability to

handle to VS. I’ve held off on the VS because it is an enzyme and I’ve

tried a lot of them and CJ just cannot handle them. Good luck sweetie and keep

your head up. It’s all trial and error. -

Thanks for the congratulations. I feel like I just had a baby.

Everyone in this group has been so kind to respond today and i feel like I am

taking up all the space on .

I have NO support system here to speak of so it has been a really hard

day for me. It's just me and my grandson and my two cats(which

don't help except that they are so soft and furry to rub on) So thanks to

EVERYONE who has responded. better stop before the tears come.

Yeast causes constipation for my NT daughter, so you might want to

consider that too.

Mag citrate, vit C can also help with constipation.

My ASD son's stomach reacted to the VS. I think the VS killed some

viruses/bugs whatever was there. It only happened the first week or

so (constipation, lots of explosive gas, but no pain).

I would stick to the very low dose of VS, it is doing something, and

he might get over it faster with the VS. Also, I gave my son VS 20

min before a meal. If I waited more than 20 min to have him eat

something, he would complain about stomach pain.
