Guest guest Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 Hi, Have there been any patterns noted in kids who have done LDN and Valtrex? My dd was a great responder to LDN - much better gut & much decreased anxiety - but she never got any of the rashes that some of the other kids had. Nothing but positives, except for a couple of days of "woohoo, ain't life GRAND" over the top crazy hyperactivity. Her LDN reaction (no rashes) had me thinking that she was NOT a big general viral kid. Also that the LDN had taken care of her possible autistic enterocolitis/measles virus since she went from massive diarrhea, constant stomach pain, and undigested food in her stool to trophy poops within a couple of days of starting LDN. Great poops/GI status for 3 months until she got strep & antibiotics 3 times in 4 months. She's been fighting yeast/diarrhea ever since. Still on LDN and it's been 8 months, which I think is past the point where the immune system is supposed to shift. Don't know for sure since I haven't been on the LDN list in awhile.
