Guest guest
Hi Miriam, I tried the shots at 25 degree angle every 3 days for 4 months. All they did was cause a great deal of OCD behavior and lots of hyperactivity. I did see improvement the first couple of dosages and then it everything started to get worse. His DAN! told me to stop the shots and about 2 weeks later his behavior started to get better. 5 months later I heard about the nasal spray and decided to give it a try. The day after the first dose he started asking us "Mom/Dad, what are you doing?". We were so happy. Our first real WOW. But 4 days later he regressed so badly he lost language, behavior was intolerable, his ABA therapists stopped sessions 3 days in a row because he had lost what he had learned. It took 3 weeks for him to get back to "normal". So, since last June I have been trying to figure out why so many kids respond so nicely to MB12 and my son does for 24 to 48 hours and then regresses horribly. He does really well with TD-Glutathione though. His nutritionist mentioned that some kids do better with Hydroxy B12 than with Methyl, but his DAN! told me to just don't think B12 for a while. I am very stubborn though, and there is always a reason why. And for my son, knowing that reason might be the key to recovering him. So I started researching like crazy and ran into Dr. Amy Yasko. I did her genetic test and the results are quite eye opening. My son has 2 MTHFR mutations (C677T +/-, and A1298C +/-) and he also has CBS C699T +/-). This means that he has problems in his folate cycle and also in the conversion of homocysteine to cysteine. So when he has too much MB12 in his body, he cannot process it quick enough and it causes side effects. This was even explained in more detail during the DAN! Conference 3 weeks ago by Dr. Jill . But it is evident that he needs it as he makes huge progress in just 24 to 48 hours of administering it. I am still waiting for Dr. Yasko's GAR (Genetic Analysis Report) to understand these mutations better. But my intuition is telling me that Valtrex is going to help him methylate better and he will be able to process the M-B12 better. I am going to start it back in 2 months and I am going to go really really slow on him. I started Phosphatidylcholine 1 month before Valtrex. It was great. 1 week into it, he was riding a tricycle. So it is your call, but you should add them all (slowly though). Valtrex has been a wonderful intervention. 3 weeks into it, and my son's expressive language has taken off. The only thing I see is that he is having trouble falling asleep, but it might be the yeast. He had horrible problems and with all the biomedical stuff I am giving him, that problem had gone away and just came back 2 weeks ago (1 week after we started Valtrex). I started him on S. Boularii (this is his 3rd and final week) and I will talk to his DAN about adding Dyflucan. Best of luck. . So I am giving the second dose before 6:00 pm. > > > > > > > > > I've had this video for some time but never > > > > > published it until today.
