Hi ,

Super.

I think that will turn out to be the first inclusive program suggestion:

Valtrex, Virastop,

OLE. I need a few days to sleep on it, but I think that's where we'll end up

going... and

then seeing what happens of course since it's just theory and best guesses until

other

brave parents jump in and try it.

Oh, and If you guys want to optmize your video and publish it for the web just

send me

the CD and work on it for you and turn it around in a day or so. If you want to

post a copy

of the video here as well, I'd be happy to or if you just want to keep it on a

site of yours

that's OK too. Basically, whatever you guys need to help tell your story, I'm

happy to help.

Stan,

I would encourage you, if you're interested in anything Virastop, to

contact deFelice. She has done the study on Virastop and has

quite a bit of information from that study. She also has access to

all sorts of information on parents who have used VS but were not in

the study because she was the person, as far as I know, to bring Vs

to the attention of the autism community.

Any parent who is thinking of introducing a viral protocol, or

tweaking the one they have, really should vist this part of her site:

http://enzymestuff.com/conditionviruses.htm There is a ton of

excellent information there. 's science background, expertise

in enzymes, and familiarity with so many " virastop stories " are just

part of what makes this site an invaluable resource for parents.

She can make things make sense for people like me, the

scientifically challenged.

Thanks, Stan... and we will try it the other way around since we

are doing OLE and Virastop now (add Valtrex afterwards). Then we

will have some data both ways, hopefully. Not much else seems to be

creeping out since we last talked at the DAN! It may be time to

hang it up soon and go to Valtrex in May or June depending on what

else we have going on. We will probably wait until after Autism One

and he is out of preschool, since we do not know what is going to

happen.

BTW, did you ever see the video? How did you like the Stan

Kurtz/Valtrex plug *wink*. I actually thought that you were in the

audience when I gave it until I saw you later.

I am going to wait a few months until I post video. I want to add

to it to make it more effective and present a newer version of it at

Autism One. Hopefully, we may have some more good info from

testimonials of people who have done the Valtrex -- VS -- OLE by

then. I would not mind bringing it up since they are giving us a

full hour, and I think it is an important piece of the puzzle for a

subset of these kids.

No, I didn't see any of the videos just yet. I was in the science section. I

wanted to peek at

your video, but it was gone by the time I got to Steve's computer.

I think the movement of recording before and after video is important to the

cause,

because as much as it isn't scientific evidence, it sure tells an undeniable

story that moves

both parents and the scientific community.

The hardest part of capturing recovery video is having the stomach to film your

child

during the bad spells. It's a bit counter intuitive to say, " Look ny is

banging his head,

honey go grab the video recorder! "

We are sort of twisted parents to do that type of thing (and to be honest, mine

was quite

accidental --no brilliance involved really), but it's quite important for the

world to know

that these really sick kids can get better --and the more people who can show

the world

that the better it is for all of us.

Enjoy Autism One and let me know if you need any video production help.

Oh man you are so you right! It was the night before chelation, and

I decided that I needed to monitor progress. That is why I got the

camera out. Angie seemed less than thrilled when I told her I was

going to film some before video. So was I. I waited until the last

possible minute. Filming it sucked in the worst way possible. I

took about 25 minutes of video before I put the camera down, and I

did not watch it until months later. When I did, I was absolutely

stunned. It was like I did not remember (or just did not want to

remember) how bad he was.

It should be on Dateline this month, but they have not given us a

date.

If anyone who is reading this is just starting out, please grab your

camera and get that before video. It is more important than the

after. When I spoke to one of the reporters that we worked with,

she told us that everyone had " after " video, but hardly anyone

has " before " video. It is the before video that helps convince

people that what we are doing works.

Look here if you have not seen it. You may have to turn off your

firewall to watch it. The video in the news clip is only 4 1/2

months after the before video, and there were never any behavioral

interventions used.

Stan, I will get you a private link with the 5 minute version that

we showed at the DAN! when I get a moment. Feel free to offer

suggestions.
