Join us for a free workshop where you will learn1. What is Asperger's Disorder?2. Keys to success when living with Asperger's3. Resources and places to go for help.

Child Sessions:

1. Play Club: Ages 5 and up diagnosed on the autism spectrum as well as 5-6 year old siblings. Its purpose will be to work on social skill deficit areas such as turn-taking, perspective talking, and conversation skills.

2. Sib Club: Ages 7-15 that have a sibling diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Its purpose will be to create a safe place for siblings to share their experiences without diagnosed siblings present and receive guidance on how to handle situations in a positive manner.

3. Childcare: This service will be for children ages 2-4 years old both on and off the autism spectrum.

Special Education 101 Trainings

Special Education 101 is an overview of federal and state law governing public school, special education procedures. Child and parent rights are discussed along with referral processes and practical tips for securing an appropriate education in the least restrictive environment. This course is typically offered once monthly from September through May.
