Because we care. Families with ASD has been helping families with autism since 2005. ASD Founders, Greg and Ann have a 16 year old son, Luke, that has Autism. Most of the ASD volunteer board members have a loved one with autism. The Family and the ASD Board know what it is like to feel overwhelmed and alone. They know that feeling that way is not necessary. There are thousands of families living with autism in the tri-state area. We hope the Expo will help families connect with others touched by Autism. Why is it FREE to attend?Again, because we care. Most of our ASD board have children/adults with autism and understand how financially challenging it can be to raise your family with special needs. Families with ASD is not about making money off of families. We are here to help families. We spend the entire year fundraising so we can offer this event, the Autism Center, printing of over 3,000 copies of our Autism Yellow Pages to hand out to families, and our many activities, classes, trainings, and holiday parties FREE to families. We hold fundraisers like the Texas Hold-Em's, the 's Burger Bashes, Raffles and Bake Sales, so we can keep as many things as possible FREE to families. So, Grab your Friends and Family and Please plan to Join us on Saturday between 10 am. to 4p.m. Please help us spread the word about Saturday. Please forward to teachers, schools, friends and family.
