Guest guest
Wow, Pam, thanks for that info! I just phoned the Ramada and got $62 per nite! Go figure! If a fridge is available, it will cost an additional $10 per nite. I also got a reservation at the Best Western in Glendale...just a few miles out from Burbank...for $109 the first two nite, and $99 the second two nites (averaging $104)...we get the two queen beds and a sofa, fridge, microwave, vcr, and continental bkfst. There's a pool and jacuzzi at this hotel. The Holiday Inn includes a fridge at no cost, but no microwave or vcr is available. (But remember the pool, waterfall, and jacuzzi...and close proximity to NBC studios.) This is at the $110 per nite rate (averaged out). :-) F "patty" wrote: original article: Hey everybody. Michele had made our reservations at the Holiday Inn yesterday, and she said she had gotten the coupon rate. I told her to double check today, and just like , no coupon. So we tried the one at Universal which is accepting coupon They want 189 for first night for 3 people. Entertainment card rate was $84.50 for up to 5 people, so I had originally booked that. Then called Ramada Inn. I asked for cheapest rate available, either with Taebo rate if avail, AAA, or Entertainment card. Are you guys sitting down? They gave me a rate of $64.50 per night with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed, no coupon required. I promptly called back Holiday Inn, and told them to roundhouse kick my reservation. So Michele, Sandie and I will be staying at the Ramada Inn in Burbank under Michele Epstein. I would call Ramada Inn and check for hotels in and around the area. They were very helpful, and said that won entrepeneur of the year. Their number is 1-888-298-2054. They do have hotels in the near area to Burbank as well. we would love to go to the world training center with you Sunday. They are open, just no . Good luck. Having a fridge and microwave in the room would be great. And it also still has a pool and jacuzzi, right? The continental breakfast is nice because you can just get up in the am and go downstairs for breaskfast. They usually have a pretty good variety of stuff to eat...at least the Hampton Inn that I stayed at when I went to the tapings in November did. How far is Glendale from the NBC studios? who thinks is great at finding good deals >> IF I were going, I'd make the same choice needing my morning coffee desparately Barb who has reached the point of needing a small traveling coffee pot cuz of the lack of am coffee at some places
Guest guest
how far is Glendale from the NBC studios? who thinks is great at finding good deals My MIL lives in Glendale and we drove to NBC studios several times.... I think it was about 10 minutes. Not bad at all. Glendale also has some a nift shopping mall and some froo froo resteraunts where we can get veggies and healthy food for a moderate price. I'm sure the resteraunts and stuff in Burbank are more expensive. What is the address of the hotel........maybe my fiance can convince his mother to drive by the hotel. I told her last night that I was coming. It was a painful conversation :-(
Guest guest
Nooooooooooo!!! Why subject yourself to your Mother-in-law???? Ick! This is vacation time, girl!!! If staying in Glendale means having to deal with her, I say forget it!...let's stay in Burbank! Naw...I can handle seeing her once or twice. You see if I'm in Glendale she can drive to meet me. If I'm in Burbank she's gonna expect I find a way over to see her. Her husbands really nice so I don't mind. Plus I need to build bridges. I'd have to see her anyways. I warned her that we were on a tight schedule :-* lol. You know we've got to be over at that World training center alot for rehersal.....ha ha. Who knows you've got to take the good with the bad... Guest guest
I agree with . Let's stay in the holiday inn in Burbank (ask for fridge). We cannot subject to her MIL, unless all of us are willing to do the same and I am not. Plus, we'll get to stay with Suzi. Elena Ferron wrote: > > Nooooooooooo!!! IT will be just once. Really. If we do stay at the holiday inn....maybe we should ask that we get a room upgrade since we are staying four nights. Sometimes they will do that..or if you fly a certain airline. Since we are flying a couple of different airlines. That might work too :-) But like I said...I'm really okay with Glendale since I will have to see her anyways. I just want to make sure it is in a good part of Glendale. If so there will be plenty of stuff walking distance etc.
