Small world, Ms. Witch, I'm in Dacula. I'm assuming you've been here long enough to know where that is -- 10 miles or less from you. I, however, love it here, moved from California when I was 10.

I'm (a/k/a De a/k/a WWD), 47, single mom, 2 teens, probably had hcv 25 years. I work as a legal assistant doing closings. I'm on wk 47 of treatment (tx). Next Thurs is my last shot. My gastro is Dr. Tanner in Lawrenceville. My hair fell out in clumps and I had bald spots for a while, but it's been growing back pure white -- quite a contrast to my dark brown natural color. It was pretty comical looking at first, but I've been getting a lot of compliments lately since it's filled in.

Welcome to our family here.

I'm still waiting for my cofirmatory diagnosis of Hep C. I tested borderlien on aliver test (dont' knwo which one, sorry) in May, and positive in early Dec. I've seent he G.I, SPecialsit who ahs doen the standard tests, plus viral load and genotyping--taht was last TH, and I hope to hear the results tomorrow. As far as we can see I got it in Japan when my hsubnad was stationed there, at a manicure, because it isn't common practice to use fresh orange stcks between customeres; they m,erely dosue 'em in alochol, which apparently wasn't enough.

I'm 55, I write erotica and fantasies (and am published), ahev worked as a teacher and librarian over the years. I'ms tuck in Bugord GA, and I HATE the Bible Belt with a passion. esp., but not just for, the cliamte. I'm a Wican, which kidna mkes me persoan non grata here. We've been here for 18months,a nd we've made no friends. We are mildly kinky (no blood exchanges) and evnet he kinky peopel here are narrow-midned about my religion. So I ahve NO support etwork other than his family who lvie here. And really that's JUST his Mom--I dont' speak to one sis-in-law because her ssoe is far up in the air that if it rains she wil drown like a turkey. I told Ben, my hsubnad, that if I lsoe hair, I'll wear the electric blue bob wig (we're GOth so I haev a coupel of wigs in non--human colors) eveyr tiem Ihave to deal with D. SO it's really just us in ana rea of the coutnry I cna't stand--only moved here because his om was here and we neeeded a palce to live till we got jobs (I still ahve't, thansk to No CHild Left behind, whcih ahs caused a budget shortfall fors chools and libraries here) and because in-state tuition si cheap. My hsubnad is retired Navy and is strtign hsi RN program next year--likely the Fall.

I do have a specilist who's up front aobut side effects of treatment and dosn't downplay them and is glad I did reseraach in advance andknwo what to expect.
