How about an anecdote. When my ds was about 4 yo (he's now 15), we

stopped at Kroger to pick up a few groceries. At that time, we did

our weekly shopping at A & P. Well, we were about half way through

shopping when I heard a tiny voice say " Kroger, " and then the

screaming began. Being the hard-head that I was, I picked up that

last item and went to the check-out counter, thinking that if he saw

that we were checking out, he'd calm down. No such luck! So we put

down our 4 items and walked out of the store. The fact that my

child could read before he was two has been a curse and a blessing.

Because he read Kroger on the cart and NOT A & P, we had meltdown.

Put that in your folder.:-)

Thank you everyone for all of the suggestions on where

to find articles!

Is that the title of the book? " Aspergers What does it

mean to me? "
