Guest guest
I'm here (big Floortime proponent). Our 6 year old son Brendon (PDD-NOS) sees Dr. Cordero and Dr. Dunbar (and Sam Elliot) at DIR Associates. Did you recently take a Floortime class with Barbara? I think we were in there together (I'm terrible with names though). jenplunk wrote: > > Hi, > > My family and are from GA but have been away for the last 6 years. > We moved back this summer with our 4 year old son who was diagnosed > with with High Functioning Autism last year (and our NT daughter who > is 22 months old). Hi, My family and are from GA but have been away for the last 6 years. We moved back this summer with our 4 year old son who was diagnosed with with High Functioning Autism last year (and our NT daughter who is 22 months old). Our son is receiving services from the school system (we live in Henry County), is going to preschool 3 days a week and is also getting private speech and OT (floor time, DIR Associates). I have never heard of Sensory Learning, but I just checked out the website and it sounds pretty interesting. Could you tell me a little more about it? (the duration, frequency, etc). Thanks... and I'm happy to have found this group! Guest guest
Sensory Learning is a 30 day intervention- a one time intervention. 12 days in clinic in Newnan 18 days home program. My son went through the program in May and we have seen incredible changes for him ie... Spont language increase, eye contact, desire for social interaction. It is definitely worth looking into... Guest guest
, that's wonderful that SL helped your son. I'd like to know if my son (ASD) would be a candidate for this type of intervention. Could you mail me privately at lanaecollier@... and tell me a little more about your son before and after his intervention? RE: Re: Sensory Learning increasing their fees!
