As you know, HIV positive individuals from other nations are barred from entering the US, even as tourists. Last year, to great fanfare, the Bush administration declared on World AIDS Day that they would reverse this HIV travel ban. Of course, they are doing exactly the opposite, and proposed regulations will actually make the situation worse. Please write your congress person today, urging him or her to support H.R. 3337, the HIV Nondiscrimination in Travel and Immigration Act which lifts the ban on HIV-positive individuals who wish to travel to the United States.
