Guest guest
Listmates.I haven't even approached BioReview yet, but I'm wondering how you assess (for yourself and the client) how someone is doing throughout a training session and across sessions. I'm just getting seriously into training with BioExplorer, and it seems that I would love to be able to see (and show the client), " OK. during the first training session you did [something] X number of times during the sessions, and then, during session 5, you did [it] X+4 number of times, isn't that great? " I know we're looking for clinical results, but this would be so helpful to me, and, I'm presuming, the client. Is BioReview the way to go here? Or learn to set up a counter? For a specific example, I've been doing some training with Pete's alpha-gamma coherence/synchrony design. You can look at trends to see how someone is doing in real time, but what I'd like is a way to count the number of times in a session the various tones are sounded (the tones correlate with hitting certain values in synchrony, coherence, etc.). Here's a description from the notes about what tones there are: " Coherence in alpha, phase angle in alpha, coherence in gamma and phase angle in gamma each have a tone in a chord that plays the background for the brain's synchrony music. When all four are in range, the full chord sounds and a soft high-pitched crystal sound plays. Two harmonic melody lines play as well (one for alpha amplitude summed between the two channels and a faster one for gamma amplitude summed between the two channels.) There are also binaural beats at 10 Hz. " That's a LOT Of tones going on at the same time. I find when I train myself I just hear a lot of noise and cannot discriminate among them and can't figure out how I'm doing. I wonder what tones could be held more important and how to work out a way to have them counted during the sessions. Is there anything already on the alpha gamma synch.bxd design (or any other design) that does this, but I'm not seeing it? Or how could I set this up? Or is it already implicit in the BioReview aspect of the software? Would it be easier to start with a simpler design, that's just doing one thing, and learn to design a counter or other simple way to collect a little summary data on what's going on? (in Francois Dupont's designs for Thought Technology there seem to be counters sometimes)Thank you.Llz Margoshes
