Guest guest Posted November 8, 2008 Report Share Posted November 8, 2008 My 3 yr old little girl get the worst leg pains from this illness. It wakes her up crying at night...sometimes she will just stop playing and tell me that her leg hurts and she squats to take the weight off her legs. Her Dr tested for juvenile arthritis and all was fine. So these joint pains are related I believe and always occur when there is an episode looming. She seemed to have skipped her fever cycle by a few days this time..however tonight she woke up crying about her leg pain....so the fever is most likely right around the corner. What do you guys do for the joint pains?? They must hurt terribly and I feel so helpless all I can think to do is motrin for inflammation and pain relief. MORE motrin! as if she doesn't take it enough already. Just curious...are you counting 28 days from day one of the fever or the day it ends??
