Our daughter was about 4 1/2 weeks early and was jaundiced when

born. We had to put her in a light box for about 3 days. We also

live in Denver, so that with the combination of her being a little

premature may explain the jaundice? - her nurses in the hospital

thought our dr. over exaggerating by requiring the light box because

of these two circumstances. She too gets crazy sweaty when sleeping,

even not during an episode. She doesn't mind wearing socks and

doesn't refuse a blanket. At night though she does seem to kick off

her blankets and enjoys sleeping without jammies. Her hands and feet

are often cool, but not always ICE cold, though sometimes they have

been - we haven't noticed a pattern here yet. We have also noticed

the low temperatures (haven't yet figured out if it is before or afer

(or both) of an episode - we will be watching more closely now) in

Meghan. We will be going out today to look for those thermomethers

suggested in an earlier post to help us hopefully get a more accurate

reading.

Nick, I think your's is a great post. You have brought up several

things that seem to be common in my daughter that I would have never

thought could possibly connected to .

I really appreciate everyone who is posting about their children so

that maybe we can figure out more about this very new syndrome,

disease or illness - whatever it is.

Thanks again,

Jeana

Mom of Meghan, 5 next month, and awaiting an official diagnosis.
