Guest guest
, why is your military insurance only the 3rd coverage? My military insurance covers everything if I go on base , otherwise my scripts costs between 3 and 18 dollars. Maybe you are on Tri Care Standard and I am on Prime. I am limited to which docs I can see, but si far it has not been a problem.
Guest guest
wow that's a huge copay, I didnt realize medicare wouldnt cover the entire cost. I know a couple of people who are on it and they told me medicare pays for it all. Now it may be that they have a medicare supplement that helps cover what medicare doesn't. I know those are real popular now, my dad sells them all the time. I have a supplement and Im well covered, the supplement pays my medicare deductble and everything else so I usually never pay anything, then of course we have the military insurance but it will only come in and pay as a 3rd payer. So far the military has not had to pay any on my healthcare except for the fertility testing and treatments since medicare wont cover that. Guest guest
Brent, For me my co-pay depends on how much of the Remicade I get. Right now it is about the same as yours. I also have Medicaid and that picks up the rest. For me the Medicare only picks up 80% and then I have the Medicaid (through the state) picks up the other 20% and the deductible. I have not help with my prescriptions. The reason why they pay for my Remicade is because it is done in the hospital. Take care, Re: Help with prescription costs: $15.00 co-pay that's cool, also those on medicare can qualify for remicade since it's an infusion therapy medicare covers it. Guest guest
No, Im on tricare prime, it's a federal law that if you have medicare tricare will always be the last one to pay. now of course if you dont have medicare then tricare is what pays. I can still go to the military hospitals and be seen there for free like everyone else, it's just that when I go to civilian hospitals for surgery's medicare is my primare, my supplement is my secondary and tricare pays last as always and they never have to pay because the other two cover 100 percent most of the time. I am however using tricare for all my reproductive endocronologists appts and stuff. The bill so far is over $2500, and when I go on the injectibles it's going to triple. Tricare is good about covering meds, they pay for my enbrel I only have the $5 co pay. I wrote you a letter, skim back the subject is Amy
