Hi,

My name is Weber. My husband Thierry and I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area with our 9 children. On Feb. 14 of this year I gave birth to Triplets all boys. The triplets are made up of a fraternal and a set of identical boys. We found out on the Friday after delivery that our identical boys have Down Syndrome. The triplets were born at 32 weeks. As of today, Sunday March 6th, our boys are in the Auxiliary nursery of ICN at Baylor. (non-Down) is now 4lbs4oz, is 3lbs14oz & is 3lbs9oz. and are beginning to nurse 2 times a day and seem to be doing well. has AV canal and will have surgery in late May or early June. Both of the boys have low thyroid. We have been very lucky so far and keep hoping for the best. We look forward to hearing from you all and learning more and more. Thanks for listening.

Thank you, :)

I am from the east-central part of LA. No one ever knows where my town is,

so I usually say

across from Natchez, MS. That usually does it. I can tell by the volume here

this will be a good list to be on. :)

I was surprised to see the result that I am, so soon. I done the

instructional video only for the first 3 days, and then starting doing both

the instructional and the basic together. I'm shutting down the smoking

habit now, and soon expect better endurance during my workout after I begin

to recover from that.

Sometimes during the basic I feel a bit sloppy in form, so I slow down or

switch back to the instructional for the remaining time of my workout. I'm

getting to the point now where I can keep my abs tightened during the entire

workout, something I couldn't do when first starting Tae-Bo.

Thanks again for the welcome, , and I look forward to reading

everyone's personal experiences and successes with Tae-Bo.

Hey Jorleo...welcome! I live in New Orleans. Where in Louisiana are

you? You've come to the right place for support. This is one

happening place! Lots of support and guidance here. I'm glad you had

your awakening (so to speak) and are taking action at an early age.

Tae Bo will do the trick, for sure. You've had amazing results in the

five days you've been tae-boing. You're wise to listen to your body and

modify your workout schedule so that you don't injure or burn yourself

out. Have you done the Instructional tape? It's so important to get

the form right in order to prevent injury. You can always do the leg

movements at half-time pace...focusing on tightening your abs, having

your feet and hips in the correct positions, and getting the form

right. I'm glad you've joined us, and look forward to hearing more

from you!

Jorleo,

Welcome!!! Please try not to overdo it. Pay close attention to your body

and how you are feeling. It sounds like you are doing that already, so keep

it up.

Who knows, maybe one day you can tell in person instead of sending him

a letter! There are quite a few of us here who have been able to do that. =)

Thank You, . These are the kind of words I love to read, for they do

make the motivations stirr. :)

I believe as long as I do not allow myself to slack up, I will continue to

feel as great as I am this moment. As long as I feel this great, there will

be nothing but time between me and my goal.

Many times since starting, I do not feel as if anything is happening. This

is usually after i've been sitting still for more than an hour or two

though..lol. After catching my breath, I am energized, rather than

exhausted. Last night I actually began to feel " overall " exhaustion from the

near week of working out, but today I feel great again after a good walk and

some yard work. :) I think I just needed to get some other form of exercise

than aerobic to go along with it.

I noticed very quickly, the " feet effect " of Tae-Bo. When not wearing shoes,

the feet burn a lot. When wearing shoes, I'm more clumsy and lose balence

easily. ??? Hopefully the feet thing will get better soon, I prefer no shoes

when doing Tae-Bo.

Thanks again ,

Jorleo

Jordan,

Welcome to our little group!!! Wow, it sounds like you are a success story in

the making! Stick with us! People who have online support are supposedly 3

times more likely to accomplish their fitness goals.

Where in Lousiana are you? from our group lives in New Orleans. I'm in

Austin, Texas, but make it to Lousiana on occassion.

Please be careful about moving too fast on the tapes. If you ever start to feel

like you dread working out...slow it down a bit for a while so as to avoid

burnout. I know alot of people quit fitness programs because they begin very

gung ho and start at a pace they can't keep up with for very long. You are the

best judge of what you are able to accomplish so don't let me butt in if your

are comftorable with the amount of Taebo you are doing.

So have you got more energy already? Thats great!! Use it!!! I take the stairs

now at work and get up and walk around often. IT really helps me remain focused

at work and its fun to get up and socialize. On campus try walking instad of

taking a shuttle bus....and please avoid the fast food. I just got out of

school and that was my total downfall. On Campus lunch. We had a chic Fil-A,

's Taco Bell, Pizza Hut etc.<groan>

Okay I'm rambling...reminding myself of the good advice I know and probably

telling you what you already know.

WELCOME!!!!

Yeah Jordan! Now if only someone else I knew on this list would follow that

advice. I won't name names.

>Welcome Jorleo. You have come to the right place for support. You

are very wise to work on your health now, rather than waiting until

middle age. always says that good health is a " life journey. "

Remember that exercising and eating healthy are something you will do

every day of your life. The results will come when they are ready. I

wouldn't recommend doing more than the instructional and basic in a day

now or even ever. Too much taebo can lead to injury (I can attest to

that) and then you can't exercise at all while you recover. Your job

right now is to concentrate on your form (which you are doing with the

instructional tape) and increase your stamina. Getting all of the

kicking moves ... will come as your form and stamina increase. That's

great you don't have a scale. It's too easy to expect immediate

results from a scale and to ignore other positive changes in your body.

Maybe just weigh yourself at a friend's house for a " before " weight

and then again a month or two from now. I recommend 's book " The

Taebo Way " for motivation and explanations about correct form. Glad

you posted. It's much easier to help someone when they post.

Elena, who suggests that you check out some of our introductions on our

web page at taeboon\isportsdot.com (correct me if I gave the wrong

address, everyone).

I could tell from the very first time that Tae-bo would be unlike anything

else i've ever tried. Never heard of anything that gives you back results

like what i've been reading, as well as my own in just a short time.

Good luck in your future with the Marines, . I admire your dedication to

reaching that goal. Joining the Marines or any other military branch and

flying jets was always a dream of mine, growing up, and one far out of reach

then.

I can't say that the name Tommie Graves rings any bells. I've only worked in

Natchez (Internships) and most of central/south/east-baton rouge parish, LA

areas after graduating, and have met so many doctors it's amazing I remember

any of their names.

Thank You :)

I would love to be able to call myself that one day, a success story, and I

do believe it's in the works now at the least. I'm about 3 hours north of

New Orleans. Just came back from Mardi Gras recently (caught the very

beginning). I love it there, could live in the French Quarter very easily,

although any chance of a good diet would be shot to pieces..lol.. Right now

i'm at a smaller campus at college, but will be transferring to LSU-Baton

Rouge in the fall, so there comes the fast food everywhere!.. I'm sure LSU

there has a great Nutritional department, so i'll see about getting what I

can out of it and stay away from the convenience foods.

Thanks again for the welcome!

Wooo hooo..another man..we sound so desperate don't we? LOL Actually it is

just so nice to see men writing on that list now and not just all of us

saying how our SO do these work outs with us! You sound like you know what

you are doing and what you want from Tae-Bo. It is fabulous that you know

that Tae-Bo doesn't only increase your physical self but also your mental

self! It is even greater that you are losing those inches off of your

waist!! You'll be fit in no time at all! I will be shortly adding your name

to our members list on the web site with your intro!

Well since you asked (ina round about way) about what everyone's success

stories are I'll just write mine out! I have been doing Tae-Bo for a little

over a month now. I have seen definite muscle definition especially in my

legs (thighs!) I have lost 5 pounds, gone down 6% in body fat and have lost

a little over 10 inches total. I have also dropped 2 dress sizes. It is

amazing how fast Tae-Bo works. I am working towards losing 15 more pounds

and goin into the Marines.

Oh and since you said you live so close to MS...do you happened to have ever

heard of a doctor named Tommie Graves around there? He works in an ER

somewhere in Mississippi.

I tried doing Tae- Bo with no shoes but it just didn't work out (pun!) for

me. My feet hurt. So I just went out and got new shoes..and my feet are

thanking me for it. The only time I have trouble with balance now is when I

am doing the back leg kicks...can't seem to keep good balance on the left

side..the right side is no problem though..but because of that I always skip

the double time back kicks and do them single.
