PUTTING NATURE'S BIOLOGY BACK TO WORK

CREATING NUTRIENT-DENSE CROPS, GARDENS AND PASTURES

An All-Day Event sponsored by Grassway Organic Farm Store, Glacierland

and Grassworks! WED JUNE 22nd, 2011, 8am-4pm

Location GRASSWAY ORGANIC FARM NEW HOLSTEIN, WISCONSIN.

SABINO CORTEZ is a professional soil, forage and crop specialist who consults

on farms and ranches from Canada to Mexico. He will address the art and science

of Composting, Compost Tea Application, Inexpensive Soil-Building, Dung Beetle

Restoration, and Natural Herd Health Livestock Protocol. Discover the " lost "

techniques, tips and tricks that will virtually eliminates the need for

conventional and expensive inputs for soil fertility, productivity and health.

Learn how to let Nature's biology do the majority of the work!

Practical application and research show that there are practical and affordable

alternatives to conventional practices regarding production of nutrient dense

livestock, forage, vegetables, and crops. However, much of this knowledge and

wisdom has been lost. Many think that it is either too complicated or difficult

to learn or that something this simple couldn't possibly achieve powerful

results.

SABINO CORTEZ founded Erath Earth, Inc. in 1989 from his family farm in Erath

County, Texas and will specifically focus upon issues such as profitable

composting and how it can be done easily and economically without major

equipment and time expenses. He will then demonstrate how to make your own

compost and how to make and apply compost tea. The results of these techniques

allow the return of natural soil biology. This will dramatically improve soil

fertility and productivity whether in a large scale operation or in your own

garden.

WILL WINTER, herd health consultant from Cannon Falls, MN, will present a

program for holistic management of pastures and the importance of the

restoration of dung beetles in those pastures. His research, experience and

observation has shown the value of holistic practices that also increase the

health of the soil, forages and crops and ultimately all the livestock raised in

this setting. He will also give pointers for worry-free holistic, natural, and

pesticide-free practices for natural parasite and disease management.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: All individuals who are farming, raising a garden, or just

want to know there are economical and healthier alternative methods for garden,

crop, and livestock production will benefit from attending this cutting edge

workshop. The workshop includes the PRESENTATIONS, HANDS-ON DEMONSTRATIONS, and

Enjoy a BREAKFAST BUFFET of natural and wholesome foods, snacks and beverages,
