Guest guest
Okay - I am going to try to do my best to reply once a week. It has been difficult with getting into Pokemon fan fiction - he just monopolizes the computer. Things here are kinda in limbo. Saw the Juvenile Court officer last Monday (already wrote about that - stepmom insists that either hospital stay to get off all meds or live with them - worker said if I can't get him into hospital - court will). Wednesday we saw his meds doctor - he said that doesn't need to be taken off all meds - that in fact it could be dangerous (for him) to be off all meds and politely refused to give us a referral. Friday we saw his therapist - he also said that he did not support and would not give us a referral. He feels that 's behaviors are learned (from dad) and that being in a hospital setting would not change them. He feels that he needs more therapy and more in-home therapy and that would affect the most change. He feels that 's swatting at me (not hard enough to hurt just in an irritating fashion) and bluffing type intimidation are as a result of watching his father use intimidation and beating as he grew up. I told him that the stepmom had said that they wanted him to live with them - the therapist was adamant that not happen. I will still try to get an appointment for him at the University Hospitals - since Juvenile Court is so eager to have him go (If I am unable to get an appointment they will go to court to get one). I don't know that I will be able to get one as with Medicaid it indicates that we will need a referral - but at least I will be able to prove that I tried to get one. As far as meds - dad and stepmom are still advocating him being off all meds. They didn't give him or he didn't take his Dexedrine at noon yesterday and Dad was advocating not giving him his Geodon last night. He feels that he should be off the Dexedrine completely - since it is being given to increase concentration while he is at school (and at the present time - school will not let him back until after hospitalization) and since I now have to homeschool him - it is not necessary. was with them for over 12 hours yesterday (9:30 a.m. until 10:30 pm.) Mood last night was very disrespectful when he got home. This a.m. it is better (course he's only been awake about fifteen minutes) Good news - the orthopedist said that I can start putting weight on my leg and start weaning off the crutches. Leg is healing well. Finally - I hate those blessed crutches. Leg has definitely weakened - so I begin rehab Thursday. Payday is Thursday .... yeah!!!!! I am so tired of being broke. Get to wash the clothes in the kitchen sink as there is no money to do laundry. Well - better run. He's wanting to get on the computer. Talk to you all later.
