Guest guest
Reggie, The conference for me was 99% work coordinating the cooking classes. I did not have time to get out and see any lectures or to talk to too many people. It was by chance that I bumped into Adam. There were several teachers who I loved talking to while there. I also met 's parents who are wonderful people. His dad does the audio for the cooking classes, and I never knew that it was him after 3 years of trying to make sure he got some tastes of the food. (For classes like and Sanae, about 200 very hungry people showed up and they typically get FIESTY when it comes to eating.) Actually, since I was there pretty much exclusively behind the scenes, I'd love to hear other people's experiences of what it was like to be a participant. > > > > > > > > Hi Reg, > > > > > > > > Seems like ages since I " spoke " to you! Guest guest
Hi , My father said to me how so nice you are! Yes, making sure he gets samples of food everytime. He commented too how you do such an incredible job managing everything in terms of the cooking classes. If you are able to do this, really then the sky is the limit in terms of what you will be able to accomplish as time goes on. Well for starters still looking to offer the Ashburn downloadable recipe collection on CyberMacro so you can join the club that Marque, , and Ilanit already in. > > > > > > > > > > Hi Reg, > > > > > > > > > > Seems like ages since I " spoke " to you! Guest guest
, Thank you for contributing to the success of the conference cooking classes. I've always been so amazed at all the prep work being done, before, during, and after each class. To shuffle all the ingredients, utensils, & even the cooking instructors (lol) for such a large number of classes takes a lot of dedication from many people. And yes, sometimes the audience does get a bit "feisty" - perhaps that shows just how popular the classes are. I've always been appreciative of the folks behind the scenes - but sometimes feel a bit shy about saying "thanks" after the class - everyone is always busy getting ready for the next class :-) So, THANK YOU. Guest guest
Hi , Thank you for making my day! I'm working on the cookbook. It's about 1/2 way finished now, but I haven't worked on it for a while. This will give me inspiration to put more time towards it. > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi Reg, > > > > > > > > > > > > Seems like ages since I " spoke " to you! Guest guest
, I'm afraid that I misled you. Hubby was traveling, so we couldn't make the conference this year. Since the earlier conference posts reminded me of all the great cooking classes that I've attended in previous years, I decided to send a belated thanks. Will you be at next year's conference too? It's probably too early for planning, but I think that it would be neat for all the VeganMacro people attending next year to meet for tea or carrot juice one of the afternoons...... Guest guest
Hi Dottie, I read your other post (maybe on Simon's site), and then figured it out! It is a good idea for the group to set a day/time/place for a big meeting of faces and minds :-) Next year, my family is scheduling a reunion, and I think it may overlap with the SC dates, unfortunately. The other option is the cruise.... Hope you're having a good day, > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi Reg, > > > > > > > > > > > > Seems like ages since I " spoke " to you! Guest guest
Oh, the cruise is a great idea. We already have reservations. Are you helping with those cooking classes too? Sandy & do such a great job. The best, Dottie Re: reggie - hello! Guest guest
Hi Dottie, That's great you have cruise reservations. I've always wanted to go but haven't yet for various reasons. Sandy is such a wonderful person. I haven't met yet. Usually, Cerie Mauerman does the cooking classes there. If I go, I want a VACATION!!! My goal is to use my airmiles to fly to Florida, but coming and going from HI is hard to do so (everyone wants to come to HI!). Hope you're having a great day. Still need to check the cookbook for you. It was on my mind, but there are several things going on over the last few days.
