It's thick, clear glass, about 7 " in diameter and 8 " deep, a straight-sided cylinder. I think it'll hold a good gallon, if I've eyeballed it correctly. I need to wash it out and find a good cover -- I'm thinking another embroidery hoop-tea towel combo. (Gee, it's a good thing I don't do as much embroidery as I used to!) Aaaand, I went to the health food store today and got (trumpet blast) hibiscus! It's loose flowers, and it was something like $1.50 an ounce. So I'm going to resurrect one of my spare SCOBYs, plop her in some lovely sugary hibiscus tea, and see what happens! Wish me luck! Namaste! -- Sylvia --------------------------------- Luggage? GPS?
