Dear Gail,

Any steam sauna is going to need to have water containment addressed.

Our ozone sauna in our clinic sits on a carpeted floor. There is no leaking

from the sauna, but when the doors open, there is condensed steam (water)

on the doors, which runs down. We have a boot tray with a towel in it to

catch

that, as well as the first step of a person stepping out of the sauna.

If there is a chance of water leaking on to the floor, a sheet of plastic

will

ensure that it is contained. A simple step of prevention can save an

expensive repair.

And that applies to our bodies as well!

Best of health!

Dr. Saul Pressman

Ah, Ken. If anybody ever asks me, I would swear you have the most

handsomest of handsome ears <grin>. Ofcourse, it might help that I've

never seen you. lol

Ok, I have come to the conclusion that whether we have any support or

not, we still have to do what we need to do to regain our health. I

can't say my husband supports me, but neither does he ridicule me. I

know in his heart of hearts he wants me well. However, he does seem

to be puzzled by some of the many things I've tried in the name of

health! lol Mostly he just kind of rolls his eyes for whatever that

means. So I was really trying to get my tent set up and everything

ready to do the sauna without him even being aware of it. After all

doesn't everybody have a tent in their spare bedroom? You know for

the grandkids to play in when they come over. Well, dispite my

efforts to do everything without his knowledge or help I ran into a

problem with, of all things, the little plug on the bottom of the

tent. I simply could not get that plugged in. Asked my daughter if

she could do it. She couldn't either. Had to ask Hubby for his

help. He asks, " What do you plan on doing with that? " I said it's

to detox. He asks, " How? " " With steam, " I answered. Then he

said, " Whenever you start using water, you have all kinds of water

damage. " So he told me I needed to do it outside! With that I did

have to laugh. But he does have a point that I thought might be

important to mention. When talking to Ken one time, he mentioned the

tent he has (I have the same one) from Ozonelab leaks and it ruined

his floor. Now he's going to have to replace the carpet and

flooring. I plan on protecting the flooring (wood floor/no carpet)

with some plastic and blankets during a sauna and then really moping

up good afterwards to prevent damage. But I also wanted to mention

and ask (Dr. Ben-ph has a sauna tent on his website), so my

question is to you, Dr. Ben, if you are listening/reading, does your

tent also leak? The reason I'm asking is because I think the steam

tent is a great way to go when one cannot afford the more expensive

sauna, but was wondering if one tent might be better made than the

other thus not allowing any leakage. I'm sure the reason for the

leakage on the one from Ozonelab is due to the little drainage hole

that I had to ask help from my husband to plug, so perhaps if one

doesn't have the drainage hole, it would notleak.

Any comments anybody.

Gail

Buy a tray for under a washing machine from Home Depot. Also, cut the pipes for

the tent so they fit into the tray better. It also makes the tent easier to put

up and take down to dry out. The tent saunas leak quite a bit of water. Will

give more info later.

Best wishes and much love, Ken

Hi Gail. How about putting it in a kiddie swimmng pool. Lightweight and

will hold way more than could ever be an issue.
