Timing is one and if I am honest I have to also say priority. I've been wanting this equipment for over 2 years. I thought no way, $6,000. It was just a pipe dream on my part. Had kids in college and haven't worked myself in over 15 years. Still I longed for it. Then I started seeing a pattern. Seem like whenever the kids need money, we had it for them. Yeah, sometimes it was necessary, sometimes not. And we even went to Germany a few years ago, which cost us a fair amount of money, not $6,000 but quite a lot for us. So I got to thinking if I really made it a priority, I could eventually come up with the money if I saved up for it. Then over the holidays, I ended up having a major relapse I guess from overdoing it. I have cfids and haven't had a relapse in 4 years. I'm still not completely over it. It was a real eye opener for me. Most all the symptoms came back with an angry force that I had forgotten about. I decided then and there I would do whatever I could to get what I needed to get on this. Yet at the same time I know everybody's situation is different. Some people really are so destitute it is simply not going to happen. In our case, I got a tent from Ozonelab because that is what I can afford at this time. I then bought a used model 60 from Saul for 1/2 the price of the new one. After all they have a life-time guarantee, so if anything ever happened to it it's guaranteed. I'll have it the rest of my life! I wanted to get a generator from Saul because I know I will be needing his help in answering my many questions whenever I get going on it. I have noticed he seems to be more than willing to give out all this expert information for free. To me that is worth a lot. What good would it do a person to have the equipment and then not be able to understand what to do with it? Still I uderstand there are other generators (medical) that might be less expensive, if you know what to look for. I didn't and I didn't want to even be bothered with it. I knew what I wanted. So I would have to say to you since you said you could come up with the $200 or $300 for the tent, get it! Start there. Then if you could come up with another $200 later put it away until you had enough for a medical generator. It might take a while even years, but you would be that much closer to getting it than you are now just wanting it. Gail
Guest guest
I think Saul said he will be reconditioning some used models soon. I know Ken Gullan saved $ by using a tent and it seemed to work for him.

Hello Deanna, I know this may sound " weird " on my part, but I really love your questions. Why? They are practical ones, and I've thought about similar things quite a bit. (In my case, I COULD outright buy an ozone machine, but not a mild HBOT chamber.) I digress. Here are a few thoughts, sent with the hope that these simply spark many other ideas, into an onslaught of many options: 1. don't get a sauna--- just get the ozone machine and do insufflation / drink water / cupping / etc. Something to consider surely. You may think the sauna is the best way, but you may be ABLE to do fine without it. If you think that sounds horrid, what about getting JUST the ozone machine FIRST--- if you use other methods while you are finding the money for a cheap sauna, you are farther ahead, and you give yourself the opportunity to SEE how it is to use the other methods. You can still add the sauna (as long as you have a strong enough ozone machine.) 2. have Saul finance the ozone machine for you. I believe he has some sort of option to pay $100 a month on an ozone machine (may not apply to a sauna). I think it is no interest. But I am NOT certain of these details, and do NOT in any way mean to speak for him. I am sure though that he HAS offered some kind of financing. 3. find someone else in your area who is close enough to share the use of the machine / sauna. 4. rent out time to others -- could be a big undertaking, but it is not impossible. 5. any other variations on #3 or #4 -- a co-op with lots of people going in on it, etc--- any means of sharing regardless of who owns the equipment. 6. state your location on this list in case someone is near you and willing to share. There are actually people here who have offered this at times. 7. look for used sauna tent and ozone machine. 8. are you sure your friend is USING the stuff? any chance of borrowing it for a while? 9. how far away is your friend moving? is making the trip totally out of the question? 10. Saul has told me that there are some Health food stores (or other businesses?) that have ozone saunas for hire by the hour. In the long run, this is actually a lot more expensive. But in the short run it is cheaper. I've never found anything like this where I live, but am ever hopeful to uncover ozone users in my neighborhood LOL. Ideas from this point on are " cheating " , as they are about money more than about getting an ozone machine cheaply: 11. ask friends to finance it for you; raise money for you; contribute to your ozone machine fund INSTEAD OF any other gift they might give you..... Or, ask some group that you are a part of to raise money, or hold a benefit dinner or sell brownies or whatever on your behalf. 12. get the book " how to get out of debt, stay out of debt and live prosperously " . It has good ideas on brainstorming ways to get things without buying them, among other things. Any of the usual (or UNusual) ways to raise money are fair game: sell things you own, make things you can sell, reduce other expenses, etc. I'm sure this is stuff you've thought plenty about. The book is quite good. 13. is there anyone who might consider buying it for you outright as a gift? Just asking, not suggesting that there should be, but it is worth thinking of this question. 14. notice which ideas have any interest or sense of hopefulness for you. Try to combine these ideas into different patterns. good wishes and good luck, Moria
Guest guest
Come to think of it I should chime in. I haven't even started my saunas yet. I've just done the water for 4 days and that is powerful. Can you imagine when I add in ozone colonics, maybe a little ozone insufflation, and the saunas? It really is powerful any which way it gets into your body.
Guest guest
Deanna, Try alternating hot baths with hydrogen peroxide and cold showers. Cheap and effective, if you can handle the cold showers. And do a series of liver cleanses to get the antibiotic junk out of your liver. And do acidophilus every day, and some other probiotics. And some colostrum product or some aloe to boost the immune system. Best of health! Donsbach's (sp) older ozone generator. I was feelling some good effect. However needed to stop because I was becoming overwhelmend with 4 doctors, arrival of numerous unfortunate blood tests, too many treatment suggestions to handle, and physically feeling worse and worse. I've put my health care under the umbrella of one MD, not my LLMD, but close. The most important thing we've agree upon is add only one new thing at a time, about once a month. I went back on abx, (I know, I know...I don't need to hear it again LOL). Then is @ six weeks started my EMEM3D: settings for lyme, co-infections, yeast, EBV and 5K, 10K. Having plummeted recently due either to the tickborne illness or a winter long upper respiratory virus, I added 6 frequencies for bacterial and viral cold/flu. Felt an immediate effect on immune system. My temp very low temp finally was almost normal, my sweats were more profuse for two days. Have continued the cold/viral/immune every day. Once I get this goiing for about a month, I would love to start doing ozone saunas again. But my friend with the equipment is moving out of town. Here's the big question: how does someone who has neither the cash nor the credit to buy a $6000 steam sauna get themselves the treament? If i can recover to do a little bit more work soon I might be able to buy a $200-$300 tent sauna. What do I do for the ozone? I think I can get a newer Donsaback through a deal for @ $299. But peoplehere have said in the past that this does not produce enough.....well, enough something....particles or volume or....well, I'm sure you knowledgeable ones know. And I have no physical strength nor friend's help ....or space! to build a FIR. Any of you knowledgeable, creative thinkers free enough of neurosymptoms to come up with a solution?
