Guest guest
i have a fir sauna which has 7 fir heaters in it if you buy a lamp i would suggest buying at least two and then making a makeshift sauna in your closet or bathroom or building one or buying one. or you can just buy the ceramic heaters. i think much of the benefit of the fir units comes from sweating. it does supposedly treat alot of different problems with joints, muscles, metabolic disorders. jim on this list has a source and there is also a guy in canada that sells them and fir saunas. kevin@... Guest guest
Olga, our late great leader, Jim Lambert, was high on these lamps and on his rec I got one and these TDP lamps are great, you direct it to the area of pain and at about 12-15 inches away for about 45 minutes after a 15 minute warm up and it really penetrates about 1 1/2 inches into the body unlike a heating pad which is only on the surface. You can do it as many times as you wish, there is no problem, no you don't have to shower etc. Get one you will be pleased...Dean On Feb 27, 2004, at 8:47 AM, lahra2000@... wrote: > > > Someone on this list posted a website that sells FIR lamps, and I took > a > look. Guest guest
Hi Olga. I have a FIR lamp and find in incredibly pleasant. I use it over my abdomen while I am using my chi machine and it gives such a sense of well being. I would not recommend the one I have, as it is $400. It is by HTE Americas and costs much more than it should. My daughter in law has three Hot Houses (you can see one at http://www.excellentthings.com ) and she raves about them. I know other people who have just one Hot House and say they love them. I haven't been able to afford one yet, but that is what I want. Blessings Donna FIR lamp question > > > Someone on this list posted a website that sells FIR lamps, and I took a > look. Looks really interesting and affordable.
