Hi Jill.

I wouldn't think to try vaginal insufflation -- it would hurt her too much,

based on my having watched her once mate with a male (neutered) dog that was as

small as she was.

However, ozonated water is a great idea. I'd thought of it, in fact, and forgot

to ask another question involving ozonated water in my original email:

The only way I can get my dog to drink ozonated water is to " spike " it with warm

chicken soup.

Will the warmth from the heated soup, as well as the proteins in the chicken

soup, adversely affect the ozone? Or will the ozone remain intact even with a

little flavoring to make it go down easier?

My dog is very afraid of any type of " procedure " on her being, even if it's

benign and on the surface. I'd do it rectally if one, it didn't hurt her, and

two, if I knew this would really work. So, my questions to you are:

(1) Can you translate " 40 cc rectally " into a flow rate and for how long using

Saul's oxygen concentrator?

(2) Have you seen any studies, or do you personally have any experience with a

13-1/2 pound dog, where this method has been used successfully?
